Your Cloudy Whisky Isn’t Flawed

Have you dropped ice into a glass of whisky and it turned cloudy? Don’t worry, this isn’t faulty product. It’s whisky that is non-chill filtered, and it’s sought after by enthusiasts.

Most bottles of whisky that are diluted with water or allowed to sit undisturbed at room temperature for a couple of hours will develop a haze. Chill filtration prevents whisky from developing a haze, but it can also strip it of flavor if it is not done carefully.

So don’t worry about it!
